other sounds: labio-velar central approximant [w]; high tense vowels /i, u/ have twice long, long, and short counterparts; mid tense vowels /e, o/ have long and short counterparts; stops and affricates (excluding /p/ and /ts/), bilabial and dental nasals /m, n/, the labio-dental voiced fricative /v/, and the lateral approximant /l/ have aspirated and unaspirated counterparts.
